Konjac Sponge make up remover exfoliator beauty

Every so often a beautiful woman will sell me some snake oil. I'm addicted to makeup and so I'm pleased to be sprayed, brushed and recommended any products.

But even I was dubious about a Japanese sponge thing that was being sold to me by a woman in & Other Stories, Regent St. I bought two of them, obviously, as I was assured it would make a change to my face cleansing regime.

I wear tinted moisturiser & pressed powder every day (Guerlain and Hourglass are my current favourites) so my cleanser has to work hard to remove the day's build up. This works.

I use whatever cleanser I like (at the moment I am in love with Eve Lom cleanser) and then you just rub it with the magical sponge. It is unbelievably fast and effective. My skin felt softer after only one use.

You can also use the sponge without any cleanser which I've tried a few times during my morning shower, but I feel my skin needs something more in the morning, even a lighter cleanser will do.

Highly recommended! Enjoy!
